FAQ's
What is the standard shipping schedule?
All subscription orders are shipped in the first week of each month, you will receive an email when your parcel has been sent.
If i order mid-month when will i receive my first parcel?
Your subscription begins on the 1st of the following month, and your parcel will be delivered that week!
What will be included in my parcel?
Your chosen number of books, a personalised message about the books and the opportunity to submit a book review on your favourite of the month. Send this back to us and we will post it on our blog!
Do you only send books in English?
Yes, whilst we do have some bi-lingual books in stock we focus our subscriptions on books in English as this is our speciality.
If my child's preferences change, can I let you know?
Yes, of course! Our books are selected to match child's interests as closely as we can. If you do notice a change in interest, please send us an email at hola@storytale.es outlining what changes you'd like made.
This looks great, but what if I have the book already?
As booksellers, we're constantly seeking out new hits and hidden gems for our customers, and whilst it's unlikely you'll be receiving a book that's already in your collection! We know it can happen. And if that is the case, we'd like you to donate that book or share with a friend, send us a picture that it's been given away and we will give you a credit to use on our website of up to €4.
What type of books are sent?
The number of books received will vary depending on the selected box and specified preferences. Customers can receive either 1 or 3 books, with options including board books, picture books, early chapter books, or chapter books.
Am I getting value for money?
On average our books have an RRP of approximately €8 plus shipping. With the subscription you get so much more: a book, free shipping and a personalised experience.
How much do I need to spend?
Our 1 book subscription is as less as €8.99/month on an annual subscription, or €9.99/month if you pay monthly.
Our 3 book subscription is €19.99/month on an annual subscription, or €21.99/month if you pay monthly.
Shipping is included, so there are no additional costs.
What if I want to skip or cancel?
No problem! Just log into your account and skip the next month's renewal - or cancel any time with a month-to-month subscription. (Annual subscriptions are non-refundable and non-changeable)
Is shipping included?
Shipping in peninsular Spain is included in the price, outside of this region shipping is chargable.
